Meet Our International (A-Level) Coaches

Kim Tang
Our IYSF Head Coach, Kim Tang will guide the Beginners’ Class teacher trainees through the Yoga Sport Drills which are designed to bring a beginners’ asana practice to the next level.

Her role in our teacher training is to build a bridge between the beginners’ level and the advanced level postures. By experiencing the Yoga Sport Drills, the trainees will understand that a deeper version of the beginners’ practice is accessible to all, if the alignment of their beginners’ postures is correct. Kim will address all the below mentioned groups of the spine movement.

Kim Tang has worn the hats of yoga student, yoga teacher, studio owner, presenter, demonstrator, five-time California State Champion, and six-time nationally-ranked competitor.  She has comprehensively coached dozens of competitors on all levels on regional, national and international stages. Her precise and individualized method of coaching involves attainment / solidification of posture, performance execution, and fluid and seamless choreography.

She is working on the advanced series of the Ashtanga system and hopes to incorporate what she is learning into her teaching.

As the mother of two young boys, Brandy has come to realize that the real yoga happens off the mat but that yoga asana is essential to her in navigating through this ever evolving life with grace and ease.
Currently, Brandy lives in Utah, leading seminars, retreats and assisting teacher trainings worldwide.

Candice Noble
The yoga sport series series has challenged me and pushed me further then I ever thought I could go. Yoga sport has given me a better understanding of my own body mechanics. Also how to help others do the same. I am excited to share this with everyone!
Delfina Bo
The world of Yoga Sport has trapped me since I was 5 years old and has encouraged me to always advance a little further. Yoga allowed me to work on my physical, mental and spiritual body, seeking harmony between them to achieve each challenge. And that is what I seek to convey to my students!

I am happy to be a part of IYSF yoga sports!

Yoga Sport Class opened another door of perception and my approach to yoga. I am still discovering more physical and mental possibilities of the body. I am inspired and observe the ever growing possibilities of other students and I like to support their creativity. I am a student myself and I like to be a guide on the path of discovering more possibilities through yoga.
Mareike Tross
I am interested in the technical aspects and aesthetics of movement and passionate about how we can achieve greater overall well-being of the body and mind as a result of regular physical and mindful activity.
I love to learn and share my knowledge and passion with other yoga sport enthusiasts from around the world.

Yoga Sport teaches me to understand my body even in extreme yoga postures. I love these AHA! moments of understanding and even more I love to share this knowledge with my students.
Hana Persson
I started to compete only few months after my very first hot yoga class and the competition gave my practice a new depth. I understood how important the small details of every posture are for the health aspect of the whole practice. I love yoga sport because it makes us as yoga practitioners take our practice and ourselves more seriously.
Erik Persson
At my very first competition I had no yoga sport coach, I didn't know about the scoring system of the competition and it didn't go that well at all. But, I made up a 4 year plan to become a medalist at the World Championship and succeeded. Since then I won the Swedish, Nordic, European Championship and 2020 I won the IYSF International Virtual Yoga Asana Championship.
